A practical training session on the asylum and immigration process, migrant rights, and support services, equipping participants to guide, support, and advocate effectively for migrants and asylum seekers.
This training provides an understanding of the asylum and immigration process, the rights and entitlements of the different stamps, and available support services. Participants learn to navigate challenges, connect individuals with resources, and advocate effectively to support migrants’ access to services and housing.
Learning Outcomes
- Navigate and explain the asylum and immigration process clearly, including key stamps and documentation, and answer questions on how it affects their work.
- Identify and connect individuals to appropriate migrant support and referral services.
- Support access to housing and accommodation services.
- Respond effectively to common challenges faced by asylum seekers and migrants.
