About SCORE Project

The SCORE Project (Sporting Cities Opposing Racism in Europe) aim was to create a coalition of European cities and local entities for the promotion of inclusive sport, as well as the prevention and fight against racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance in the sporting field.

Sport can foster integration between communities, local participation and a sense of belonging for newcomers. Sport can and should be a force to combat racism.

To ensure there is no place for racism in sport, the SCORE coalition will work towards:

  1. Ensuring equal opportunities in access to sport.
  2. Tackling racism and racial discrimination in sport.
  3. Creating a coalition of cities against racism in sport.

Doras has facilitated workshops and other spaces where local groups, community leaders and other stakeholders met and exchanged experiences about promoting anti-racism and equality in sports.
