Ukraine Response: Community Hub Questionaire Ukraine Response: Local Liaison Organisations Questionnaire There are currently over 500 serviced centres around Ireland for beneficiaries of temporary protection, with widespread concerns over welfare, safeguarding, and standards of accommodation. It would be helpful to build an evidence base of the problems that exist, and in order to do that we are planning to set up a network of local liaison organisations that are the eyes and ears on the ground. The intention is to have organisations covering all the serviced accommodation centres around the country. These organisations will, we expect, be part of the Ukraine Civil Society Forum (UCSF), but this piece of work is focusing specifically on tracking welfare and safeguarding issues in the serviced accommodation centres. This network/hub will provide a mechanism for the escalation of issues to the relevant contact points in the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) or elsewhere. It will be coordinated by Doras, and will be part of the UCSF’s Community Cluster. If you are already active on the ground, willing to be a designated local liaison organisation, or feel the project might be of value to your organisation, please complete this short survey, Your organisation’s name Contact name Email address What do you see as the value of a network of local liaison organisations?
