Direct Support

Doras directly supports international protection applicants, refugees and migrants who need assistance accessing their rights and entitlements, primarily at our headquarters in Limerick. We also provide support online, over the phone, and nationally through our outreach efforts.

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 1pm, and 2pm to 5pm. Our address is Doras, 51a O’Connell Street, Limerick, V94 W275. Find us on google maps Here.

We also provide a similar service in Athlone, in collaboration with our partner New Horizon.

In addition, we provide support at outreach locations including Direct Provision and Emergency Accommodation Centres, often in collaboration with other organisations and agencies.

We have a dedicated team of workers who provide in-depth assistance, information, and referrals on a wide range of immigration-related and other issues. We offer a confidential, and professional service, assisting people from migrant backgrounds in accessing their rights and entitlements. These services are available free of charge to anyone in need of assistance, no matter what their status or situation.
